COURSE OVERVIEW
The Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) is administered by CIRO and is the entry point to CIRO's new proficiency model. It is the required proficiency exam for registration as an Investment Representative (IR) with a CIRO member firm.
This foundational course covers the regulatory knowledge, compliance standards, ethical responsibilities, and product understanding needed to operate in Canadian securities markets. Passing the CIRE qualifies you as an IR and is the foundation for progressing to the Registered Representative (RR) category.
